 {x}^{2}  - 23x + 120 = 0

a = 1

b = 23

c = 120

disc. \:  = b^{2}  - 4ac

disc. \: =  (23)^{2}  - 4(1)(120)

disc. \:  = 529 - 480

disc. \:  = 49

disc. \:  =  {7}^{2}

As discriminant of the given equation is a perfect square and greater than zero

So , roots of this equation are rational (real) and unequal .
