Given,

The numbers are = 6666,24575

To find,

The unit digit of the cube of the given numbers.

Solution,

We can easily solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

Now, we don't need to do huge multiplications by finding out the entire answer of the cubes of the given numbers.

We just need to take the unit digit of each number, and then we need to cube that unit digit. The unit digit of the final answer of the previously mentioned cube will be same as the unit digit of the cube of the entire number. This happens because no other number is added with the product of the unit digits, in the further steps of the multiplication of two numbers.

Unit digit of the first number (6666) = 6

It's cube = 6×6×6 = 216

Unit digit of the above cube = 6

So, unit digit of the cube of main number = 6

And,

Unit digit of the second number (24575) = 5

It's cube = 5×5×5 = 125

Unit digit of the above cube = 5

So, unit digit of the cube of the main number = 5

Hence, unit digit of the cube of 6666 is 6 and unit digit of the cube of 24575 is 5
