Step-by-step explanation:

In first figure

angleR=98 (vertically opposite angle)

angleR+angleQ+angleP=180 (angle sum property)

98+Q+P=180 (isocelles traingle property Q=P)

98+2Q=180

2Q=82

Q=42

P=42

AngleQ=x

x=42

In second figure

y+106=180 (linear pair property)

y=74

we know angle P=Q

so

P+Q=106 (exterior angle property)

x+x=106

2x=106

x=53

In third figure

z=40 (isocelles traingle property)

x=z+40 (exterior angle property)

x=40+40

x=80

AngleB+C+D=180 (angle sum property)(angleC=D)

80+y+y=180

2y=100

y=50
