Mark the ∠a and ∠b, as shown in the attachment.

∠a + 120° = 180° (Linear pair)

∠a = 180° - 120°

∠a = 60°

∠a = ∠b because the sides are equal. If the sides are equal, then the angles are also equal.

a = b = 60°

∠b + ∠y = 180° (Linear pair)

60° + ∠y = 180°

∠y = 180° - 60°

∠y = 120°

The sum of all angles of triangle is 180°.

∠a + ∠b + ∠x = 180° (Angle sum property of triangle)

60° + 60° + ∠x = 180°

120° + ∠x = 180°

∠x = 180° - 120°

∠x = 60°

∠y + 25° + ∠z = 180° (Angle sum property of triangle)

120° + 25° + ∠z = 180°

145° + ∠z = 180°

∠z = 180° - 145°

z = 35°
