Note : Vertically opposite angles are equal and Co-interior angles are supplementary, or add up to 180°.

y = 60° (Vertically opposite angles)

x + 30° = 180° (Co-interior angles)

x = 180° - 30°

x = 150°.

Thus, x = 150° and y = 60°.

as we can see here that the ANGLE Y and opposite of 60 degree makes 180 degree .... Y =180-70 =110 degree.

AND

X , Y and 30° makes 180° as they are equivalent triangle.

X+30°+70° =180°

X=80°
