Answer:

P(-2)=2(-2)³+(-2)²-(-2)-1

=2(-2×-2×-2)+(-2×-2)+2-1

=2(4×-2)+4+1

=2(-8)+5

=-16+5

= -11

find the vale of P(x)=2x³+x²-X-1 at x=-2.

 { \color{aqua}{ \underbrace{ \underline{ \color{lime}{ \mathbb{✯꧁ ⋆᭄ SoLuTiOn⋆᭄꧂✯ }}}}}}

p(x) =  2{x}^{3}  +  {x}^{2}  - x - 1

x =  - 2

p( -2) = 2 {( - 2)}^{3}  +  {( - 2)}^{2}  - ( - 2) - 1

p( - 2) = 2( - 8) + 4  + 2 - 1

p( - 2) =  6- 17

p( - 2) =  - 11

 {\boxed {\boxed{ =-11}}}
