➤ Answer :-

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{3}{4}  \times \bigg( \dfrac{5}{8} \div \dfrac{1}{2} \bigg)}

First, we should solve the fractions which are inside the brackets, it is one of the rule in BODMAS.

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{5}{8} \div \dfrac{1}{2}}

While dividing two fractions, first we should take the reciprocal of second fraction and multiply both the fractions.........

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{5}{8}  \times \dfrac{2}{1} = \dfrac{5 \times 2}{8 \times 1}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \cancel \dfrac{10}{8} = \dfrac{5}{4}}

Now, we should multiply the obtained answer with the first fraction given in question i.e, ¾.

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{5}{4}  \times \dfrac{3}{4} = \dfrac{5 \times 3}{4 \times 4}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{15}{16}}

\Huge\thereforeThe answer is {\tt\dfrac{15}{16}}.

More to know..................

  • BODMAS is a rule used in mathematics. In that rule first we should solve the part of the question which contains bracket. Then the division should be solved, after that multiplication, then addition and then finally addition.

BODMAS stands for :-

• B denotes Brackets.

• O denotes OF (multiplication).

D denotes Division.

• M denotes Multiplication

• A denotes Addition.

• S denotes Subtraction.
