b^2-4ac

25-4×2×10

25-80

=55 is the answer

Comparing the given Equation with ax^2 + bx + c = 0

We get,

c = 10

Now,

 \bf{ \triangle =  {b}^{2}  - 4ac}
 \bf{ = ( - 5) {}^{2}  - 4 \times 2 \times 10}
 \bf{ = 25 - 80}
 \bf{ =  - 55}
