Now taking their sum :

{40+(-9)}/4= 31/4

Now finding the product of 10 and -9/4

=10×-9/4

=-90/4

Now dividing the product by their sum :

= -90/4 ÷ 31/4

= -90/4×4/31

= -90/31

The value will be -90/31
