it can be written as --- (100+1)^2
we know that (a+b)^2 =a^2+b^2+2ab
then
it is
100^2 + 1^2 + 2×1×100
= 10000 + 1+ 200
= 10201

( x + y )² = x² + 2xy+ y²

Now ,

( 101 )²

= ( 100 + 1 )²

= ( 100 )² + 2 × 100 × 1 + 1²

= 10000 + 200 + 1

= 10201
