Answer: Given:- x = 1 & y = -1

Putting the value given in the equation, 25x² + 16y² + 40xy , we get:

=> 25x² + 16y² + 40xy

=> 25(1)² + 16(-1)² + 40(1)(-1)

=> 25 + 16 -40

=> 41 - 40

=> 1

Hence, 25x² + 16y² + 40xy = 1
