Answer:

The value of (30) + (-23)+(-63)+(+55) is -1 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given -

(30) + (-23)+(-63)+(+55)

To find -

The value of (30) + (-23)+(-63)+(+55)

Solution -

As,

(-) multiplied by (+) equal to (-)

∴ Given equation becomes,

30-23-63+55

When two subtraction sign occurred then addition happed with negative sign in a answer.

So, Add 23 and 63 we get

=  30-86+55

When one subtraction and one addition sign occurred then substraction happed with higher value sign in a answer.

Substract 86 from 55 we get

= 30-31

= -1

The value of (30) + (-23)+(-63)+(+55) is -1 .

To solve : (30) +(-23)+(-63)+(+55)

Solution :

  • Addition is the arithmetic operation of taking off difference between two numbers.
  • Addition rules for integers:
  1. If two negative integers are to be added then addition operation is performed and sum obtained has negative sign . i.e. (-)+(-)=-
  2. If one negative and one positive integers are to be added then operation performed is subtraction and difference obtained has sign of greater integer . i.e.   (-)+(+)= sign\ of \ greater\ integer
  3. If both positive integers are to be added then operation performed is added and sum obtained is positive integer i.e.(+)+(+)= +
  • Therefore according to above rule we solve  (30) +(-23)+(-63)+(+55)

      = 30 -23-63+55 \\= -1

Hence, -1  is the answer .
