To solve : 54 -(-78) + ( -74) - 67

Solution:-

To solve the above equation we will follow BODMAS rule.

It is the rule used to remember the order of operations to be followed while solving expressions in mathematics.

where, B= brackets

            O = order of powers or rules

            D= Division

            M = multiplication

             A = addition

             S = subtraction

According to above rule we will solve 54 -(-78) + ( -74) - 67

as we know ( - ) \times (- ) = (+) \ and \ (+ ) \times ( -) = ( -)

Therefore,

          = 54 + 78 - 74 - 67

on solving we get,

          = - 9

Hence - 9 is the correct answer.
