Answer:

7+√5 / 7-√5 - 7-√5/7+√5 = a+ 7√5b/11

   7+√5 / 7-√5 - 7-√5/7+√5

= ( 7+√5 * 7+√5 ) - (  7-√5 * 7-√5 ) / ( 7+√5 * 7-√5 )

= ( 7^2 + (\sqrt{5})^2 + 2*7*\sqrt{5} ) - ( 7^2 + (\sqrt{5})^2 - 2*7*\sqrt{5} ) / ( 49 - 5 )

= (49 + 5 + 14\sqrt{5} ) - ( 49 + 5 - 14\sqrt{5} ) / ( 44 )

= ( 49 + 5 + 14\sqrt{5} - 49 - 5 + 14\sqrt{5} ) / (44)

= 28\sqrt{5} / 44

= 7\sqrt{5} / 11 , compare this with a+ 7√5b/11

we get , a = 0 , b = 1

                                 Formula used : (a+b)^2 = a^2 + b^2 + 2*a*b

                                                           (a-b)^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2*a*b

                                                            (a+b) * (a-b) = a^2 - b^2
