2a-b=32
2a=32+b
a=32+b/2
putting value of a in a+b=9
that means
32+b/2+b=9
32+b+b=2×9
32+2b=18
2b=18-32
2b=-14
b=-14/2
b=-7
a+b=9
a+(-7)=9
a-7=9
a=9+7
a=16
