  • Angles which are placed next to each other are called adjacent angles.

  • A pair of adjacent angles is called linear pair if there measures add up to 180°.

  • A straight line that intersects two or more straight lines in a plane at different points is called a transversal.

  • If the lines cut by the transversal are not parallel, then the corresponding angles are not equal.

  • If the lines cut by the transversal are parallel, then the corresponding angles are equal.

Q:-Find the value of a and b, given that p || q and r || s.

\huge\tt\underline\blue{ANSWER }

------>>>>Here is your answer<<<<--------

➪2a=80°( corresponding angle).

a=40°

a=50°

➪2a+x=180°(angle on the same side of transerval)

➪100°+x=180°

➪x=180°-100°

x=80°

x=b°=80°(corresponding angle)

HOPE IT HELPS YOU..
