Find the value of a and b if (√5 - 1)/(√5 +1) = a - b√5

(don't answer:- "I don't know" or somethin' like that)

(√5-1)/(√5+1)
by taking conjugate
=(√5-1)/(√5+1) x (√5-1)/(√5-1)
=(√5-1)²/5-1
=5+1-2√5 /4
=6-2√5/4
=3-√5/2
a=3/2
b=-1/2
