Substituting x and y in ax + by = 3 is
(2a + b = 3) multiplying with 2
3a - 2b = 1.
4a + 2b = 3
3a - 2b = 1
________
7a = 4
a = 7/4
Substitute a in 2a + b = 3
2(7/4) + b = 3
b = 3 - 7/2
b = 1/2
(2a + b = 3) multiplying with 2
3a - 2b = 1.
4a + 2b = 3
3a - 2b = 1
________
7a = 4
a = 7/4
Substitute a in 2a + b = 3
2(7/4) + b = 3
b = 3 - 7/2
b = 1/2
