√3+1/√3-1=a+b√3

√3+1/√3-1*√3+1/√3+1=a+b√3

(√3+1)^2/3-1=a+b√3

3+1+2√3/2=a+b√3

4+2√3/2=a+b√3

2+√3=a+b√3

so a=2 & b=1
