Then distance

  AB=  (2−a)  2  +(9−5)  2  =  4+a  2  −4a+16 ​    =  a  2  −4a+20  BC=  

(a−5)  2 +(5−5)  2  =  a  2  +25−10a

​ CA=  (5−2)  2  +(5−9)  2  =  9+16  =  25 ​ =5

We know that, In a right angle triangle

 By phythagoras theorm,

 AB  2  +BC  2  =CA  2  (  a  2  −4a+20 ​  )  2  +(  a  2  +25−10a  )  2 5 =  2

Then a=5 is not possible

Hence a=2 is possible for all value of right angle triangle.
