Answer:

a = 3, b = -3

Step-by-step explanation:

suppose x^4+ax^3+2x^2-3x+b = (x-1)(x+1)f(x)

putting x=1

1+a+2-3+b=0

a+b = 0        (1)

putting x= -1

1-a+2+3+b=0

-a+b= - 6     (2)

subtracting equation  (2) from equation (1)

2a= 6

a = 3

adding equations (1) and (2)

2b  = - 6

b = -3
