If (x-1) and (x-2) is exactly divide the given polynomial then on putting x=1,2 plynomial will equal to 0.
on putting x=1,in given eqn we get
1^3 + 10(1) +a(1)+b=0
=1+10+a+b=0
=a+b=-11
now putting x=2
2^3 + 10(2) +a(2)+b=0
8+20+2a+b=0
=2a+b=-28
on solving both equation on a ,b we will find the value of a=17/3,b=6
