Find the value of a for which the point p(a,3) is the mid point of the line segment joining points Q(-5,4) R(-1,0)

Hey mate!

We know that the mid-point of any line is (x1+x2/2 , y1+y2/2)
So,
a = [-5+(-1)]/2
=> -6/2
=> -3.
