• Answere of the question:-
First we will do:-
x+3= 0
or x= -3
Then,
P(x) = x^4 - x^3 - 11x^2 - x+a = 0
P(3) = 3^4 - 3^3 - 11*3^2 - 3+a = 0
P(3) = 81 - 27 - 99 - 3 + a = 0
P(3) = 81 - 129 + a = 0
P(3) = 81 + a = 129
P(3) = a = 129 - 81
P(3) = a = 48
First we will do:-
x+3= 0
or x= -3
Then,
P(x) = x^4 - x^3 - 11x^2 - x+a = 0
P(3) = 3^4 - 3^3 - 11*3^2 - 3+a = 0
P(3) = 81 - 27 - 99 - 3 + a = 0
P(3) = 81 - 129 + a = 0
P(3) = 81 + a = 129
P(3) = a = 129 - 81
P(3) = a = 48
