Find the value of a for which x-a is a factor of the polynomial f(x) =x^5-a^3x^3+2x+a-3

Answer:

The second term of f(x) is wrong.

It will be -a^3x^2 or -a^2x^3.(because otherwise the value of a becomes a variable)

I have assumed the first term and solved.
