Answer:

6

Step-by-step explanation:

x= 3/2

now, putting value of x in the equation..

2×(3/2)^4 - (3/2)^3 - 3 × (3/2)^2 + 4×3/2 - a = 0

2×81/16 - 27/8 - 27/4 + 6 - a = 0

81/8 - 27/8 - 27/4 + 6 - a= 0

taking 8 as lcm we get,

(81 - 27 - 54 + 48 - 8a)/8= 0

now, -8a + 48 =0

=>-8a = -48

or, a= 48/8

therefore, a = 6................
