Given, (3-√5)/(3+2√5)

On rationalisation, we get

(3-√5)/(3+2√5)×(3-2√5)/(3-2√5)

=> (3-√5)(3-2√5)/(3+2√5)(3-2√5)

=> [3(3-2√5)-√5(3-2√5)]/(3²-(2√5)²

=> (3²-6√5-3√5+2(5))/(9-4(5))

=> (9-9√5+10)/(9-20)

=> (19-9√5)/(-11)

=> (9√5-19)/11

=> 9√5/11 - 19/11

=> (9/11) √5 - 19/11

On comparing with, a √5 - 19/11

we get a = 9/11.

Therefore,a=9/11

Hope it helps!
