Find the value of 'a' if the area of the triangle formed by the lines
x=0, y=0, 3x+4y=a is 6 sq. units​

since ,

it is right angled triangle formed between the axis.(since, x=0 is y axis and y=0 is x axis)

∆= 1/2(x intercept)(y intercept)

Since the equation is 3x+4y = a

the intercept form is ×/(a/3) + y / (a/4) =1

x intercept is a /3 and y intercept is a /4

1/2 × a/3×a/4 = 6

a^2/24 =6

a = 12
