given p(x)=ax³ + 9x²+4x-10

g(x)=x+3

x+3=0

x=-3

p(-3)=ax³ + 9x²+4x-10

5=a(-3)∧3+9(-3)∧2+4(-3)-10

5=-27a-81-12-10

27a=-108

a=-4

HEY

HERE IS ANSWER

Question -

Find the value of 'a', if the division of ax³ + 9x²+4x-10 by x+3 leaves a remainder

Now
.Solution .

given

p(x)= ax^3+9x^2+4x-10

g(x)=x+3

r(x)=5

here

g(x)=x+3

x=-3

put the value of x in p(x)

p(x)= a(-3)^3+9(-3)^2+4(-3)-10

=> -27a+81-12-10=0

=> -27a+81-22=0

=>-27a+59=0

-27a=-59

a=-59/-27

a= 2.18

HOPE IT HELPS

THANKS
