HEY MATE
HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

Solution

x - a =0\\ x = a \\ p(x) = {a}^{3} - {a}^{2} x + x + 2 \\ p(a) = {a}^{3} - {a}^{2} \times a + a + 2 \\ = a - {a}^{3} + a + 2 \\ = 0 \times a + a + 2 \\ = {a}^{2} + 2 \\ then \\ {a}^{2} + 2 = 0 \\ {a}^{2} = - 2 \: answer.

☺️☺️☺️

HOPE IT HELPFUL FOR YOU

Topic:- Polynomial

Question:- find the value of a if x -a is a factor of x cube - a square x + x +2?

Solution:-

Given:- Factor (x-a)

x-a=0

x=a

GIVEN : Polynomial

x³-a²x+x+2

Substitute the value of a in Polynomial

x³-a²x+x+2

f(a)=(a³)-a².a+a+2=0

=]a³-a³+a+2=0

=]0+a+2=)0

a+2=0

a=-2

=========================Thanks!!!
