then ,x-a= 0

x=a

Substitute x=a in the given equation

p(a)=>(a)^3-a(a)^2+a+2=0

=>a^3-a^3+a+2=0

Here a^3and -a^3 will be cancelled

then

=>a+2=0

=>a=-2
