We know that : —

Sum of the angles on straight line is 180°.

So,

3a + 2a + 3a = 180°

→ 8a = 180°

→ a = 180°/8

→ a = 22.5

Verification : —

Putting the value of a we got above in (3a + 2a + 3a = 180°)

→ 3(22.5)° + 2(22.5)° + 3(22.5)° = 180°

→ 67.5° + 45° + 67.5° = 180°

→ 180° = 180°
