Answer:

here

given

x=?

y=8

 {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  + 20 = (x - y + 14) {}^{2} \\  =  >  {x}^{2}   + 64 + 20 =( x - 8 + 14) {}^{2}  \\  =  >  {x}^{2}  + 84 =  {x}^{2}  + 12x + 36 \\  =  > 12x = 84 - 36 \\  =  > 12x = 48 \\  =  > x = 4

here a=X

b=y

hence X=4

y=8
