Answer:

By rationalizing a=√5-√3/√5+√3 and b= √5+√3/ √5-√3

we get a=(4-√5) and b=(4+√5)

and when we squaring

we get

a²=(4-√5)²=32

b²=(4+√5)=30

When adding a²+b² we get 62.

I'm sure it is correct.
