= (1)^6 - a(1)^5 + (1)^4 - a(1)^3 + 3(1) - 1 + 2 = 0
= 1 - a + 1 - a + 3 - 1 + 2 = 0
= 6 - 2a = 0
2a = 6
a = 3

Therefore, X - 1 = 0
