Answer:

a = 105° b = 75°

Step-by-step explanation:

Complete step-by-step solution -

As given a is greater than b by one third of a right angle.

As we know the value of the right angle is 90∘.

So one third of right angle is 90/3=30∘

So we can write

⇒a=b+30∘……………...……………………(i)

In general the value of straight line angle is 180∘.

So we can write

a+b=180∘

From equation (i) we can write value of a

⇒b+30∘+b=180∘

⇒2b+30∘=180∘

⇒2b=180∘−30∘

⇒2b=150∘

⇒b=150/2

⇒b=75∘

From equation (i)

a=75∘+30∘=105∘

Hence the value of a is 105∘and b is 75∘ .
