Answer: 3.5 and -2.9

Step-by-step explanation:

(I) putting x = -2 in polynomial,

4*(4)+3m(-2)+5 = 0

-6m + 21 =0

m =21/6

m = 7/2 = 3.5

(II) putting  y = -5 in polynomial

7 + 4(m+2)*(-5)-(25) = 0

7 -20m -40 -25 = 0

20m = -58

m = -58/20

m = -2.9
