Cos⁻¹ ( Cos (-100°) )

We know that  Cos (-θ) = Cos (θ)

so  Cos⁻¹ (Cos (100°)  ) = 110°

We give the value between  0 and 180 degrees for inverse Cosine. because that is the range in which inverse cos is defined. ....

===========
if it is inverse Sine, then the range /domain for the angle is  -Pi/2 to  pi/2.
