cos theta =1/2

hypotonuse =2

adjacent side =1

then by using phythagoras theorem finding opposite side ,

the opposite side is root 3

then finding cos + sin

1/2+root 3/2

so the answer is 1+root 3/ 2

Answer:

cos theta =1/2

thus ,theta =60 degree (from trigonometric table )

now cos theta + sin theta

=cos 60 degree + sin 60 degree

=1/2 + root 3/2

=(1+root3)/2
