Answer:

2 ohm is in parallel connection , let it be R4

0.5 and 1.5 ohm is in series connection so

Rs=R1+R2

0.5+1.5

Rs=2ohm(resistance in series) let it be R3

R in parallel=( 1/R3)+(1/R4)

(1/2)+(1/2)

(1+1)/2

2/2

total resistance=1ohm

and we know that v=ir

where v=volt

i=current

r=resistance

2=i×1

i=2/1

i=2

so current=2ampere
