a=2 b=-1 c=2
D= b²-4ac
...(-1)²-4.2.2
1-16
-15
it is negative therefore this equation has no real roots.

2y^2-y+2=0
comparing with ax^2+bx+c=0

a=2 b=-1 c=2

b^2-4ac = (-1)^2-4×2×2
= 1 - 16
= -15
