-y+2=0
-y=-2 as we will transfer +2 to the RHS then it will become -2
y=2 as we will cancel the both - and - so it will become plus (+)

d =  \sqrt{b {}^{2} - 4ac }

d =  \sqrt{( - 1) {}^{2}  - 4(2)(2)}

d =  \sqrt{1  - 16}  =  \sqrt{ - 15}
