Hi ,
We know that difference
between
any two consecutive odd
numbers is equal to 2.
Therefore,
let us assume 5
consecutive odd numbers
are
A = x ,
B = x + 2 ,
C = x + 4,
D = x + 6 ,
E = x + 8 ,
According to the problem
sum of A and C = 146
x + x + 4 = 146
2x + 4 = 146
2x = 146 - 4
2x = 142
x = 142/ 2
x = 71
Therefore,
E = x + 8
E = 71 + 8
E = 79
5 consecutive numbers are
71 , 73 , 75 , 77 , 79
I hope this helps you.
