Answer:

=>2ab+3ab^2-5a^2b

=>a=-2,b=0 [Given]

=>By putting values in eq.

=>2(-2)(0)+3(-2)(0)^2-5(-2)^2(0)

=> 2×0+3×0-5×4×0

=> 0+0-20×0

=> 0+0-0

=> 0

Given,

  •  \boxed{  \sf \purple{ Eq - (a) 2ab + {3ab}^2  - {5a}^{2} b}}

  •  \sf \:a = -2, b = 0

We need to find the value of 2ab + 3ab² - 5a²b

________

according to the question,

 \rightarrow \sf 2ab + {3ab}^2 – {5a}^{2} b

{\rightarrow \sf 2( - 2)(0)+ {3( - 2)(0)}^2  - {5( - 2)}^{2} (0)}

{ \rightarrow \sf{2( - 2)(0)+ 3( - 2){(0)}  - 5{(4)}(0)}}

{ \rightarrow \sf{2 \times 0+ 3 \times 0}  - 5 \times 0}

{ \rightarrow \sf{0+ 0}  - 0}

{ \rightarrow \sf{0}  - 0}

{ \rightarrow \boxed{ \sf \purple{0} } }

  • Use bodmas while doing these kind of sums.
  • There are number of situations in which we need to multiply algebraic expressions.
  • A monomial multiplied by a monomial always gives a monomial.
  • Finding the products by using identities is much easier than finding by direct multiplication.
  • We multiply term by term i.e every term of the expression is multiplied by every term in another expression.
