heya \\ \\ we \: know \: that \: \sin {}^{2} ( \alpha ) + \cos {}^{2} ( \alpha ) = 1 \\ \\ \\ \\ 3 \sec( \alpha ) = x \: \: and \: \: 2 \csc( \alpha ) = y \\ \\ \\ 9 \div x {}^{2} = \cos {}^{2} ( \alpha ) \: \: and \: \: \: 4 \div y {}^{2} = \sin {}^{2} ( \alpha ) \\ \\ \\ now \: add \: both \: the \: equations \: we \: get \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ 9 \div x {}^{2} \: \: \: + 4 \div y {}^{2} = 1
