Given :

  • f(x) = x² - 3x - 6

To Find :

  • f(-2)

If f(x) = x² - 3x - 6, then if we should find the value of f(-2), we have to substitute -2 in place of x in the given equation.

f( - 2) = ( - 2 )^{2} - 3( - 2) - 6

f( - 2) = 4 + 6 - 6

+ 6 and - 6 will get cancelled, remaining number is 4.

So, f(-2) = 4
