The sum of any two rational numbers is always a rational number. rational numbers are closed under addition. this is called the closer property.

= -6/5 + (-8/3)

= -6/5 - 8/3

= LCM of 5 & 3 = 15

= -6×3/5×3 - 8×5/3×5

= -18/15 - 40/15

= -58/15

Here , sum of two rational is a rational number ( -58/15 is a rational number ) ....

Thus , closure property holds true here ...
