Find the value of:
(i) 36x2 + 49y2 + 84xy, when x = 3, y = 6
(ii) 25x2 + 16y2 – 40xy, when x = 6, y = 7​

= 36(27) + 49(36) + 84(18)

= 972 + 1764 + 1512

= 4248

(ii) Substituting the value of x and y

25(6)² + 16(7)² - 40(6)(7)

= 25(36) + 16(49) - 40(42)

= 900 + 784 - 1680

= -4
