Answer:

3x2+kx+8=0

it is in the form of

x2+(a+b)x+a*b=0

where a, b are roots.

a+b=k-(1)

a*b=8 -(2)

a/b=2/3

a=2b/3 -(3)

sub (3) in (2)

2b/3 *b=8

b2/3=4

b2=12

2 \sqrt{3}  = b

sub b in (2)

a \times 2 \sqrt{3  }  = 8 \\ a = 4 \div  \sqrt{3}

k=a+b simplify
