5

Step-by-step explanation:

2x-3y -7=0______(1)

(k+1)x+1(1-2k)y -(5k-4) =0________(2)

where, a1=2; b1= -3; c1 = - 7 and

a2=(k+1); b2= (1-2k); c2 = - (5k-4)

a1/a2= 2/(k+1)

b1/b2 = -3/( 1-2k)

c1/c2= 7/(5k-4)

a1/a2=b1/b2=c1/c2 it is no solution equation

2/(k+1)= -3/(1-2k)

2-4k=-3k -3

-4k+3k= -3-2

-k= -5

k=5

again,

7/(5k-4)= -3/(1-2k)

-15k+12= 7-14k

-15k+14k= 7-12

-k =-5

k=5

hence k=5 answer
